Kevin JESSEAU
February 20, 1934 — June 16, 2018
Kevin Francis Jesseau, aged 84, passed away in Kelowna General Hospital on Saturday, June 16, 2018 after suffering a heart attack in his home at Hawthorne Park, Kelowna, BC.
Born February 20, 1934, in Grand Falls, Newfoundland, Kevin lived in many areas throughout Canada and the US.
He served in the Canadian Air Force, and later earned a B.A./B.Ed. from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay. Throughout his life he enjoyed varied careers in furniture and car sales, real estate, politics and as an elementary school teacher. For many years Kevin raised purebred Arabian horses in Thunder Bay with his (then) wife Patricia and their children Sean and Shelley.
Kevin loved playing billiards and became quite proficient, winning several tournaments in Canada and the US. Recently he could be found in the games room at the Wedgewood and at Hawthorne Park, where he happily offered pool instruction and tips to anyone wanting to learn.
He loved to tell jokes and stories and tall tales. He had a great repertoire of magic tricks, sleights, and card tricks. He loved entertaining kids best of all. He was very talented, intelligent and charismatic.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife Carolyn, his son Sean (and grandson Aubrey) and his daughter Shelley. He will be missed by them and the many friends he made throughout his life. Kevin is also survived by sisters Donna and Mary, brothers Wayne, Michael Sean, and Ray, and by his son Terry Banks and daughter Ann Edmonds. Kevin was pre-deceased by his sister Patricia, brothers Jerry (Winnipeg) and Joe (St. John’s), mother Mary “Mollie” (nee Gunn) Jesseau (Grand Falls) and his father Jeremiah Jesseau (Grand Falls).

A casual Memorial Tea will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 18, in the billiards room at Hawthorne Park, 867 K.L.O. Road in Kelowna.
