OBITUARY
Richard Robert Michel Steinebach
December 17, 1964 – June 11, 2018
Richard “Rick” Steinebach died unexpectedly in his West Vancouver home on Monday, June 11th at the age of 53.
Rick is survived by his son Michael Murphy, daughter Destiny Collett, grandson Carter Collett-Papin, mother Diane Jacelon, brothers Stefan Steinebach, Justin Steinebach, and Armin Jiwani; his many nieces and nephews Christopher Burke, Krysta-Ann Edwards, Michael Steinebach, Olivia Strobel, Aleisha Steinebach, Shyla Kassam, Jackson Horton, Londynn Jiwani; as well as his great-nieces and nephews Robert Edwards, Doran Lewis, Summer Lewis, and Marcus Lewis. He is preceded in death by his brother Mike Steinebach, nephew Brody Strobel-Steinebach, and father Egon Steinebach.
Rick was born on December 17th, 1964 in Montreal, Quebec. At the age of 11 Rick moved with his family to North Vancouver where he eventually met Roxanne Murphy who mothered his first child, Michael. He later went on to meet Amber Collett who mothered his second child, Destiny. Rick will be mourned by many including his current partner, Colleen Hennessy, whom he’s known for over 30 years.
