Thomas Michael Pellow
September 16, 1960 – June 16, 2018
It is with sadness that the family of Thomas Michael Pellow announce his passing on Saturday, June 16th 2018 at his home in Halifax. Tom will be sorely missed by his wife of 38 years, Julia, his Father Jim, his son and daughter in law James and Melanie, his grandchildren Jacob, John, Caylee and Emmalyn and his large extended family and friends. Tom is predeceased by his Mother Marguerite (Marnie) and his grandson Joshua.
Tom was born on September 16th 1961 in Halifax Nova Scotia, where he would live until the age of 12 . In 1972, Tom, his mother Marnie and his Father Jim would move to Toronto Ontario where he attended Timothy Eaton Secondary School. There he would meet his future wife Julia. They married on June 19 1980 in Toronto. They would have 1 son, James. In 1989 Tom and family moved home to Halifax, where he had lived since.
Tom loved hockey. He was a long time season ticket holder with the Halifax Mooseheads. He could be seen at every home game, wearing his beloved Montreal Canadiens jersey. Tom would travel by train to Montreal every February where he would attend the Bell centre to watch his Habs play. It was a trip that he looked forward to all year long.
Tom also loved his family. He was and will always be husband to Julia, Son to Jim and Marnie, Dad to James(Melanie), and Grandpa to Jacob, Joshua, John, Caylee and Emmalyn.
Gone but never forgotten. His family will always have him in their thoughts and hearts.
In lieu of flowers, A donation can be made to any local animal shelter/rescue in Toms name and memory.
Per the deceased’s wishes, there will be no service.
