She always had a place at her table and often a bed for any visitor from PEI. A long-time employee at St. Michael’s Hospital, she filled her life with a myriad of volunteer commitments after her retirement. She was still making soup for the residents of Fife House at 89 years of age and was affectionately known as ‘Clara the Soup Lady’. Deepest appreciation for the caring and kindness of all staff and volunteers at Fudger House. Visitation at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home (467 Sherbourne St, Toronto) on Wednesday, June 20 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (520 Sherbourne St, Toronto) on Thursday, June 21 at 10am . Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Daily Bread Food Bank, St. Vincent de Paul or Fife House would be appreciated by the family.
