MILLS, Audrey Louise (Bryers)
Passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Monday, June 11, 2018, in her 88th year. Beloved wife to Rex Mills for 61 years. Loving and devoted mother to Darrell and his wife Leigh-Anne, and Wayne and his wife Judy. Cherished grandmother of Laura, Courtney, David (Lindsay), Philip (Kristy), Mathew (Rieley), Sarah, Jessica and Daniel, and great-grandmother of Caleb, Jacob, Anna, Clara, Ruby, Isabelle and Theo Rex. Survived by her brother Paul Bryers (Claudia) of Sacramento, California. Will be missed by nieces and nephews; Kerry Enns (Peter), Mark Bryers (Jeannie), Valarie Whittaker (Brian) and great-aunt to Cynthia Whittaker and Jeffery Whittaker (Debbie). Audrey was a faithful member of Delta Tabernacle and Stoney Creek Alliance Church and served in many ministries in each church. She was a devoted employee of John Deere Canada in Grimsby for over 20 years. The family is very grateful for the exceptional and loving care Audrey received over the past seven years from the staff and nurses at Arbour Creek Long-Term Care Facility as she lived with Alzheimer’s. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on June 14 from 6-8 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Mountview Gardens Cemetery, 780 Highway #8, Stoney Creek. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Ratanak International would be appreciated by the family.
