Obituary of Martha Klauck
KLAUCK – Martha Catharine (Reinhart) of Northland Pointe passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, June 11, 2018 in her 98th year. Martha was predeceased by her loving husband, Clarence on the same date 8 years ago. She is the cherished mother of John (Phyllis) Klauck of Port Colborne, Sharyn (Paul) Thibault of Mississauga and Ron (Linda) Klauck of Port Colborne, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-children and 1 great-great grandchild. Mrs. Klauck was predeceased by her parents John and Susannah Reinhart, 4 brothers and 5 sisters. She is survived by 4 nieces, 1 nephew and a sister-in-law Audrey Klauck. Martha was born in Humberstone Township, on the family farm, on March 27, 1921, has lived in the area all her life and she always remained a true farm girl. She was initially a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Snyder (New Germany) and after marriage, a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Gasline. Martha was hard working, frugal and a great role model for her children and grandchildren and was always interested in their achievements. We will miss her dearly. The family will receive visitors at the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. in the Davidson Chapel. Family interment will be in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church or the Northland Pointe Gazebo Fund. A special thanks to all the staff at Northland Pointe for the wonderful and loving care that Mother received for the last almost 9 years.
