It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Katherine(Kay) Schille on June 3, 2018 at Poplar Court nursing home in Wilke at the age of 87 years. Kay was born in Scott, SK. to Anton and Magdelina Uzelman on November 18, 1930; the youngest of 13 children. She is survived by 12 of her 13 children; Terrence (Susan) Schille of Winnipeg, MB.; Patrick (Linda) Schille of Calgary, AB.; Gayleen (Ken) Mann of Wilkie, SK.; Gwen (Bill) Haase of Willkie, Allan (Vicki Phipps) Schille of Lloyd, SK.; Melford (Darcy) Schille of Maple Ridge, BC.; Armelle (Len Jaroszuk) Schille of St. Albert, AB.; Anna (Roy) Pernitsky of Red Deer, AB.; Charles Schille of Lloyd, SK.; Wade Schille of Kelowna, BC.; Brent (Sharon) Schille of Calgary, AB.; Peter (Karla) Schille of Lloyd, SK.; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Donna S. Hofer; her Exhusband and the father of her children Albert Schille; her special friend Ed Foster; her parents Anton and Magdelina Uzelman; her sisters – Mary Senger, Rose Dushire, Anne Mitzel and baby Katherine Uzelman; her brothers – John Uzelman, Tony Uzelman, Pius Uzelman, Frank Uzelman, Peter Uzelman, Joseph Uzelman, Mike Uzelman, and Leo Uzelman; grandsons – Shane Mann and Anthony Schille. The celebration of her life will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Wilkie on Saturday, June 23 at 1:30pm. Donations in memorium can be made in Masses, Poplar Courts Activity Funds, and The Katherine Bursary at the University of Saskatchewan.
