Armand Babineau
1925-2018
It is with sadness we announce the
peaceful passing of Armand Anthony
Babineau, age 92, of Sackville. Armand passed
away in the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Sunday, June 10,
2018.
Born in River Hebert, NB, he was a son
of the late Jude and Regina (Melanson) Babineau.
Armand was educated at the School for
the Deaf in Halifax, NS. He was an active member of the Deaf
Association of Moncton. He was an artist, loving to draw and
paint. He lived in Sackville all his life, working at the
Sackville Box Factory and later the Enterprise Foundry.
He will be dearly missed by his loving
wife of 46 years, Eileen (nee Steeves), Sackville, NB; sister-in-law
Juliette Babineau, Sackville, NB; several nieces and
nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers
Harvey, Erville, and Fred and infant sister.
Arrangements are under the care and
guidance of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge
Street, Sackville (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will take place
on Monday from 2 to 4 pm. A Funeral Liturgy of the word will
be celebrated at Jones Funeral Home, Sackville, on Tuesday, June 12,
2018, at 2 pm, Father Allison Carroll officiating. Burial
will follow in the Sackville Cemetery.
