OBITUARY
Stuart McDavid
July 28, 1936 – June 7, 2018
McDavid, Stuart- Retired employee of the Refuse Division (Local 43) of the former Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto
-passed away peacefully on June 7th, 2018 at North York General Hospital, in his 82nd year.
Stuart was one of 13 siblings and is survived by three of those: his sister Mildred (Dale, deceased) MacRae of Barrie and brothers Laird (Ellen) of Vernon, B.C. and Wallace (Anne, deceased) of Lindsay, Ontario, and many nieces and nephews who reside across Canada.
Left to mourn are his soulmate of over 56 years Jean (MacAulay) McDavid; his daughters Brenda (John) Iwanicki, Mississauga; Deina McDavid, Willowdale; and son Brian (Kelly) McDavid, Newmarket as well as four loving grandsons Ryan and Trevor Iwanicki and Cameron and Connor McDavid.
Friends and family to visit at JERRETT FUNERAL HOME, 6191 Yonge Street, North York (South of Steeles Avenue) on Monday June 11th from 6 p.m. until a Celebration of Life at 7 p.m.
Many thanks go to the doctors and nursing staff of 5SE and 7SE at North York General Hospital. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Shetty and Kimberley Harkness, Nurse Practitioner, who cared tenderly for Stuart during his time at NYGH. Also a special thank you to John who was Stuart’s last day nurse who cared for Stuart as though he was a member of his own family.
