OBITUARY
Mrs. Florence Evelyn Rozenberg
December 1, 1928 – April 11, 2018
FLORENCE EVELYN ROZENBERG, (nee Nelson), passed away April 11, 2018, at the Harrison Residential Care facility in Surrey, BC. Born Dec. 1, 1928, in Camrose, AB. Florence was nicknamed Snowflake by her father because the day she was born, the first snowfall of the season fell. She grew up near Bawlf, later moving to Camrose, and then Wetaskiwin. Florence lived in Okanagan Falls from 1967 to 1978, and Salmon Arm from 1978 to 2017. She enjoyed many hours creating her pressed floral artwork and needlepoint. Florence was known for her kindness and warm smile. Her family and many friends will dearly miss Florence. Predeceased by her parents, Olgar and Clara Nelson. Predeceased by husband, Harmen Rozenberg. Survived by sisters, Lorraine and Lois, both of Camrose, AB; predeceased by brother, Arvid. Survived by children, Carolyn and husband John, Abbotsford; Randy and wife Patti, Chilliwack; Marilyn, Kelowna; Maureen and husband Bill, White Rock. Predeceased by granddaughter, Christena, Abbotsford. Survived by granddaughter, Creacia, Victoria; and grandson, Zacharia, Kelowna; step-grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, and Melodie. Predeceased by stepsons, George, Gary and his wife Anita. Survived by stepson, Ron and wife Elaine of Houston, step-grandchildren, Sheila, Jessica, Barbara, Tanya, Christopher, Jacob, Patrick & Shanon. Survived by cherished friend, Mirella of Salmon Arm, many nieces and nephews, step great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren.

An interment ceremony will be held in Salmon Arm, BC, June 2, 2018, with a reception at 1 pm at Bowers Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Elim Christian Care Society.
