OBITUARY
Stephen Allen Ross Jackson
June 30, 1961 – May 21, 2018
With aching hearts we announce the unexpected passing of a « great guy », Ross Jackson, while on a family vacation in South America. Ross leaves behind his wife and best friend of 32 years, Rhonda, sons Brian and Tim, brother Kevin, mother Carol, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Loyal, selfless, protective, honest, stubborn and opinionated, Ross put family above all else. Proud of his 27 years as a member of the VPD, Ross retired with the rank of Staff Sgt. Ross returned to the VPD, managing the Property Office and had plans for travel and home renovations in full retirement.
The family would like to thank their extended VPD family, Heather, Dave, Augie and especially brother Kevin and sister-inlaw Kerri for their care and support during these difficult days.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 7 at 1:00 pm at the Broadway Church, 2700 E. Broadway. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the PMBA Ross Jackson Scholarship Fund, 3585 Graveley Street, Vancouver BC V5K 5J5
