STEVEN, Basil William
Passed away peacefully at North Lambton Lodge in Forest on Saturday, June 2, 2018, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Nancy. Dear father of Lisa McEwen (Allan)(grandchildren Chad, Mark, Krista), David (Patti)(grandchildren Ryan (Nikki) (grandchild Carter Basil); Christopher, Danielle), Craig, and Scott (Christine)(grandchildren Nicholas, Alexander, Colin). Brother of Glen (Barb), Floyd (Rosette), and Lyle (Josie), and the late Elton and Ivan. Brother in law of Norma and Connie. Basil farmed for many years in both Plympton and Warwick Townships, under the prefix Starlyte Farms on Egremont Road, and was a 50-year member of Holstein Association of Canada. Visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF FOREST, 9 James Street South, Forest, on Thursday, June 7, 2018, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place in the chapel on Friday afternoon, June 8, 2018, at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Warwick Cemetery. For those who wish, in memoriam donations to the Warwick Fire Department, Canadian Cancer Society, North Lambton Lodge Auxiliary or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
