Dino is survived by his two sons, Chris (Nancy) and Greg (Joanne), daughter in law Dawna and grandchildren, Ryan, Michael, Anthony, Kyla, Jessalynn and great-grandchildren Adalyn, Wyatt, and Raphael. Dino was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Teresa, his brother Ron and his great-granddaughter Paisley.

In 1951, at the age of 19, he joined the RCMP, commencing a career that would last 37 years, and span continents. He was posted to several detachments in New Brunswick and met his future bride, Teresa Cullinan, in Saint John, where she was the detachment commander’s secretary. Dino accepted a post to Rome, Italy, where he and Teresa were married in the Choral Chapel at St. Peter’s Basilica in 1958. They spent 8 years in Rome, Vienna, and Berne. Other postings included Montreal, Toronto, a return to Rome in 1972, and finally Ottawa, where Dino retired as the Inspector in charge of Interpol. Dino enjoyed volunteering at the Veteran’s Hospital in Ottawa before he and Teresa moved to Saanichton in 1998 to be closer to their sons and grandchildren.
Dino will always be remembered as a kind and generous man to his family, co-workers and many friends.
Sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their kindness, care and comfort they provided Dino in his last days.
