It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loving mother, at the age of 85. Cherished by her daughter Darlene, son Mike (Sandi) and granddaughter Olivia. Predeceased by her husband Mike. Adored sister of Myron, Leon, Peter, Walter, Ollie and Doris. Sister-in-law to Bill Festeryga and Ann Stachnyk. Nettie will be sadly missed by her very special friend Don Moisiuk, and many nieces, nephews and longtime friends.
Nettie is resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, where family and friends will be received on Monday, May 28th, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service to celebrate Nettie’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, May, 29th, 2018 at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, to honour Nettie’s life, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre, Palliative Care, would be appreciated.
