BARTEAUX, Scott David – age 45 of Nictaux West, NS, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. Born in Ottawa, Ont., he was a son of Denise (Morin) Barteaux, Nictaux West, NS, and the late David Lloyd Barteaux. Scott was a Paramedic for 23 years and was very proud and dedicated to his career. He was a past soccer and volleyball coach and his favourite job of all time was being a Dad, whether it was helping with homework or being a dedicated chauffeur, Scott loved his family dearly. He was a « Jack of all Trades » and was always there to help others. Scott was a tissue donor, helping to improve the quality of lives for others. He is survived by his mother, Denise Barteaux; his wife, Lisa Barteaux (Cole); his daughter, Isabel; his sons, Isaac and Dalton, all of Nictaux West; his brother, Steven (Lisa) Barteaux, Nictaux; nieces, Raelin and Olivia; nephew, Ethan; mother and father-in-law, Danny and Sharon Cole, Digby; and sister-in-law, Erin (Jason) Moniez, Tantallon. He was predeceased by his father, David Barteaux. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 27, 2018, in NSCC Annapolis Valley Campus, Middleton, 295 Commercial Street, with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service in the Nictaux Fire Hall, 9349 Highway 10. All are welcome. Donations in Scott’s memory may be made to an Educational Fund for his children through Valley Credit Union, Middleton.
