Wanda Dickie
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on May 21, 2018 at 88 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Wilbur Dickie (1997) and John Neda (1980). Loving mother of Anita Fongern and the late Thedore Neda (1983), and step-mother to the late Pam Rengnier, Bruce Dickie, Janine Plante, Ian Dickie and Warren Dickie. Cherished Grandmother of Eric and Adam Fongern. Beloved daughter of the late John & Lena Kopak. Sister of Kathy Grabowski (Edward), the late Sandra Leavens (the late Robert) and the late Jim Kopak (Wanda). Wanda was born in Windsor and raised her family in Amherstburg. She enjoyed many years of retirement after working as a supervisor at Fort Malden Museum. The family thanks the staff at Season’s Amherstburg and Hospice of Windsor for their loving care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or Hospice of Windsor. A memorial service celebrating Wanda’s Life will be held on Monday May 28, 2018 at 10:30 am at Families First, 585 Sandwich Street South, Amherstburg 519-969-5841.
