It is with great sadness that we announce the
passing of our beloved Mom on May 10, 2018.
Mom was born Olga Anna Crema on August 8,
1930 in Giavera, Italy and immigrated to
Canada in 1931. She lived with her family in
South Porcupine, Ontario before coming to
Vancouver as a child. Mom and Dad were
married in 1949 and moved to Coquitlam in
1957, where they have lived happily
surrounded by their family and friends. Mom
is survived by her loving husband of 68 years
Elio, children; John (Laura), Janice (Bill), Tom
(Donna), Cathy (Bob), Don (Gail), 15
grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren,
sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and
many friends. Along with the love and
devotion she had for her family, Mom also
loved to travel, knit, needlepoint and cook.
Two of her favorite dishes were her famous
ravioli soup and biscotti cookies. Prayers will
be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at
Our Lady of Fatima Parish, 315 Walker Street
in Coquitlam followed by a Funeral Mass on
Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
Reception to follow in the church hall. In lieu
of flowers a donation to the Multiple Sclerosis
Society of B.C. at 1103-4720 Kingsway
Avenue, Burnaby, B.C., V5H 4N2 or
Children’s Hospital, 4480 Oak Street,
Vancouver, B.C., V6H 3N1 in Mom’s name
would be greatly appreciated.
