With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, Mary (Tilley) Perry, at St. Clare’s Hospital on April 25th, 2018, at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband David Cameron Perry, parents John (“Jack”) and Susannah (Susie) Tilley, sisters, Anne (Maher) and Marie Dolores (Kendrick), brother, Edward, grandsons, David Escott and Jay Perry, and son-in-law Donald Lundrigan. Leaving to mourn six children: daughters Christina, Susan (Drexel) and Sheena (Philip), and sons Ian (Suzanne), Brian and David (Beverley); granddaughter, Danielle and family; grandsons Scott and John and families; great-granddaughter Kennedy and soon-to-arrive great-granddaughter and little sister for great-grandson Jack on May 23rd (John & Nicole); Ann Casey ( her special ‘sister’), Theresa and Lou Maresca, Joseph and Mary Tilley, the Ogilvies, and the Tilley family; nieces, Carol Ann (Lincoln), Anne Marie (Chaisson), Patricia and Ann; nephew, Billy (Kendrick); brothers-in-law, Frank Kendrick (Michigan) and Norrie (Betty) Perry, Scotland; step-grandchildren, Shelby and Christian (David & Beverley) and many old and dear friends from the East end, the West end, and all around the town. Our parents were fortunate to have had wonderful physicians over the years, especially dear friend and family physician, the late “Jock” Coyle, Dr. Thavanathan, Dr. Linda Inkpen and Dr. Percy Crocker. We truly appreciate the warmth and support of the management and staff at Chancellor Park over the past two years. Special thanks to Dr. Genge for her warmth and compassion during Mom’s final hours. Visitation will take place at Caul’s Funeral Home on Sunday and Monday, April 29th and 30th, from 2 – 4 p.m and 7 – 9 p.m, with a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 at 10 am. at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist, St. John’s. Burial to follow at a later date. We are truly blessed to have had two beautiful parents and their love will live in our hearts forever.
