Mark is survived by his loving family, his special companion Jemima Charles; his sons, Stanley Ballantyne and Isaac Ballantyne; his daughters, Jane Rose Ballantyne (Robin), Lorretta Ballantyne (Sam), Pamela Ballantyne and Whitney Ballantyne; the mother of his children, Betsy (Billy) Bird; his brothers, Tom Ballantyne and Ernest (Laura) Ballantyne; his sister, Beatrice McLeod; his grandchildren, Honey (Ricky), Ariel, Trinnidy, Ciara, Darion, Trenton, Aubree, Lyndale, Zane, Beyonce, Lucas, Josh, Trey, Taylor, Manny, Jordon; his special nephews, Shane Ballantyne and Jack Ballantyne; numerous godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by, his children in infancy, Bennidicta, Cynthia, Agnes, Derek; his parents, Peter Isaac Ballantyne and Mary Lydia (James P) McKenzie; his brother, William “Edward” Ballantyne; his nephews, Peter Ballantyne and James Ballantyne; his grandparents, McIntyre Ballantyne and Caroline Ballantyne; numerous other relatives. Mark’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018, at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, in Stanley Mission, SK, Rev. Richard Custer and Rev. Elias Ballantyne officiating. Interment to follow at the Stanley Mission Cemetery.
