July 21st, 1942 – April 24th, 2018
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls on Tuesday, April 24th, 2018 at the age of 75.
Guy was born in Iroquois Falls to Jeanne d’Arc (Genest) and Lionel Arsenault. He was the beloved husband of Estelle Arsenault (born Lamarche), cherished father of the late Michele (Dan) De Julio, Mona-Lynn (Léo) Bélanger and Chantal (Dan) Del Guidice all from Iroquois Falls. Dear Pepère of Nicole (Travis) Richer, Joshua De Julio, late Megan Locke, Kristy-Anne (Rémi) La Salle, Kelly-Ann Bélanger (Robbie Staples), Brittnay, Anthony and Mia Del Guidice and great-grandfather of Jace La Salle and Madison Richer. He was the brother of Lilianne (André) Lambert, Huguette (Don) Snodgrass, late Pauline Paquette, Roger (Lynne) Arsenault, Gilberte (Bob) Boucher, Jean (Carole) Arsenault, late Gilles (Suzanne) Arsenault. He was also the brother-in-law of the late Marcel (Marie) Lamarche, late Hélène (Claude) Charlebois, Marielle (late Doug) Weller, Claudette Lamarche, Ronald (Lucie) Lamarche, Ginette (Guy) Cournoyer, Jasmine and Mona Lamarche. He will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Guy worked at the Abitibi paper mill for 40 years. He loved music, the outdoors especially gardening and golfing and being our family taxi driver.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 27th, 2018 at 2 pm at Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens Roman Catholic Church in Iroquois Falls followed by a reception at the Church hall.
