Pauline Mary Roote
ROOTE, Pauline (Mary) – Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Fairhaven Nursing Home in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Thomas Roote (2015). Devoted Mother of Carol Cavers (Alan), Paul Roote, Janice Roote and Jeff Roote. Cherished Grandma of Jennifer Cavers (Trevor), Michael Cavers (Stefano), Jessica and Clinton Chmiel. Pre-deceased by her parents John and Hannah Fitzgerald (Leahy). Loving sister of Catherine Martin (Richard) and the late Stasia Doris (Joseph), Bernadette Doris (Gerald), Helen Barker, Jackie, Emmett and Michael. Loving sister-in-law of Gord Barker and Marlene Fitzgerald. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 6 – 9 p.m. at Nisbett Funeral Home, 600 Monaghan Rd, S. 705-745-3211. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (208 Romaine Street). Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens The family would like to thank Dr. Spink and the wonderful staff at Fairhaven for their compassionate care. In memory of Pauline, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
