Obituary of William ‘Bill’ Lynch
Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, Bill Lynch of Harbour Grace, age 84 years. Predeceased by grandparents: Joseph and Alice Lynch; mother: Maryann (Bill) Taylor; sister: Gloria Lynch; siblings: Ron (Ellie) Lynch, Jessie Lynch, Edith Lynch, Sadie (Albert) Chafe, Nath (Cecilia) Lynch, and Ted (Hazel) Lynch; special friend: Leah McMillan. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Cindie (Willis) Mahaney, Carbonear and Mistie Lynch (Wanda), St. John’s; four grandchildren: Paul, Leah (Jess), Lexey, and Dennis; brother: Hayward Taylor, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Friday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, April 21 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul’s Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Bill Lynch Memorial Fund, c/o Noel’s Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1001, Harbour Grace, NL, A0A 2M0.
