Michael David Williams
1957-2018
Michael D. Williams of Harvey Station, NB passed away after a short
illness at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB on April
18, 2018. Michael was born at Victoria Public Hospital, Fredericton,
NB on February 14, 1957, being the eldest son of Donna (Reid) and Dave
Williams of Harvey Station, NB.
Michael attended Harvey Elementary and High Schools and was a
carpenter by trade, having worked in New Brunswick and Newfoundland.
He was a basketball player in High School and certainly enjoyed his
time at the Geary 660 Speedway and helping out in the pit.
Michael is survived by his parents; a son, Michael Thomas Williams and
the mother of his son, Jennie Burrell-Williams, both of Calgary, AB;
his brothers, Randy Williams (Nancy), Jeffrey Williams and Chris
Williams (Lisa); his sister, Suzanne Watson (Charles); several nieces
and nephews and special friends, Durelle MacIntosh, Brent Phillips and
Hazen Hartley.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Thomas and Reta Williams and
Alton and Bessie Reid; a sister-in-law, Sheryl Williams; an uncle and
several aunts.
Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3,
Harvey Station, NB on Friday evening, April 20 from 7 to 9 pm. The
funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2 pm from
the funeral home chapel with Rev. Anne Boudreau officiating.
Interment will be at a later date.

has suggested the Sheryl Williams Scholarship Fund at Harvey High
School or a charity of the donor’s choice.
