Peacefully at Parkwood Palliative Care Unit, London on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, Mary Pauline Dimmel in her 85th year. Beloved wife of Robert Lee Dimmel (deceased 2013) for 52 years. Cherished mother of Heather Currah, Allan (Darcy) Dimmel, Centalyn Besterd. Proud grandmother of Ryan (Marlo), Matthew, Patricia, Corey, Nicholas, Emily, Amy-Lynn, and Adrianna; great-grandmother of 6. Sister-in-law of Donald Dimmel (Sylvia), and Howard Gerth; niece Brenda. She is predeceased by her siblings Phyllis, Bill, Bob, and Velma, Mary will also be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. Special thank you to all the Medical Staff at Parkwood Institute and University Hospital for their care and compassion and also to the friends and staff at Kensington Village. Friends will be received by the family from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2018 at FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell), London, where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to The London Public Library.
