Ida Evelyn Harrison, age 88, of Stratford passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Stratford General Hospital on April 16, 2018. Born in Limerick, Saskatchewan, September 26, 1929, daughter of the late Frederick and Mary Emma Lynch.
Evelyn worked at Prestonia and later as bookkeeper for Stan Beckner at the Esso on Huron Street. Evelyn and her husband Eric owned and operated Eric’s Service Centre where she continued to do the books until the age of 81.
Beloved wife for 67 years of Eric Harrison. Loving mother of Cheryl Linton (Alan), Ron Harrison (Barb), Darlene Harrison (Bill), Neil Harrison (Susan) and Angie Skinner (Dave). Grandmother of Rodney Harrison (Kelley), Amanda Harrison (Brandon), Brittany Harrison, Darla Wicke, Erica Boon (Ken), Ryan Harrison, Ashley Kalbfleisch (Dan), Nadine Skinner, Rachel Skinner (Mitch) and great-grandmother of Demi, Ryker, Piper, Dominic, Emilia, Jackson and Lucas. Also survived by sister June Bond, sister-in-law Pauline Dunbar and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Irene Miller (Fred), brothers-in-law Don Dunbar, Ronald Harrison in infancy and sister-in-law Gloria Avis.
