Muriel, or “Moolie” as she was affectionately known, will be remembered as a generous and loving woman who took great joy in her family and their accomplishments. She continuously put others before herself, and was always there with a kind word, a home cooked meal and a listening ear. She inspired all with her deep faith and devotion, and generous support of her church and other causes. Special thanks to her physician and family friend Dr. Randy Hart for going above and beyond in providing care, and to the staff of Tiffany Village for their support.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday April 18 and Thursday April 19 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. Funeral services will be held at St. Thomas Anglican Church on Friday, April 20 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Canadian Diabetic Association and the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre. Cremation has taken place.
