It is with great sadness that the family of the late
GERARD
SLANEYof
St. Lawrence announces his passing at the U.S. Memorial Health Care
Center in St. Lawrence on April 15th, 2018 at the age of
74. Leaving to mourn with fond and
loving memories is wife Jean of 48 years; son, Darren (Friend Ashley)
of Alberta; daughter, Lana Rascoe (Joseph) of Louisana; sisters;
Gloria Ducey (Gene) of St. Lawrence, Joan Edwards (Bob) of Nova
Scotia; brothers, Roy (Anne) of St. Lawrence and Theo of St. Lawrence;
sisters-in-law Margaret Slaney and Sheila Slaney;
2 grandchildren, Hannah Rascoe
and Andrew Rascoe; plus a large circle of
extended family and friends.
He was
predeceased by parents, Rennie and Bertha Slaney; brothers, Loyola,
Ted, Fabian, Herbert, Ray, and Ed (Adrian); sisters, Patricia and
Norma.
Funeral Mass to be
announced at a later date.
In Gerard’s
memory, donations may be made to The Slaney
Family.
