It is with profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Delores (McMullin) Graham, age 89 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney on Sunday, April 15, 2018.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Kathleen (McMullin) MacNeil and was lovingly raised by her grandparents, James and Sarah McMullin.
Delores resided in Toronto for 24 years. After retirement Delores and her husband, Cecil Graham returned to Glace Bay in 1984. She resided with her sister, Vangie for 17 years and will be dearly missed by Vangie’s grandchildren, LJ, Hunter, Hayden and Chase as well as fur babies, Tate & Jax.
Dolores is survived by sisters, Donna McNeil (Bob Chiasson), Anna Norman, Vangie (Arnold) Clarke, brother, Bob (Joan) McNeil, stepchildren, Vernon (Carol), Barbara (Wayne) Murphy along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil Graham in 1989, along with stepchildren, Valerie and Bruce.
As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral mass. Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, Glace Bay. A private burial will be held at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Patient Care Fund at the Cape Breton Cancer Centre.
