Lois Boyer
The family of Lois Elizabeth Boyer wish to announce her passing at the Cypress Regional Hospital on Monday, March 26, 2018 at the age of 88 years. She lived in the White Bear, Kyle, and Swift Current area.
Lois was an avid gardener, knitter, quilter, and enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and horseshoes.
Lois was the daughter of Rex Smid and the sister of Edward Smid.
She married Glen Boyer on September 1, 1949 and was blessed with 5 children.
Lois is survived by four children: Ronald Boyer, Kyle, SK. Dixie Dykstra (John) Herbster, Wisconsin. Dallas Boyer (Joanne) Regina, SK area. Nolin Boyer (Vivien) Swift Current, SK area. Daughter-in-law, Shirley Boyer, Kyle, SK. Grandchildren: Travis Boyer (Kim) Kyle, SK. Angela Langen (Mike) Saskatoon, SK. Aaron Dykstra (Heather) Florence, Oregon. Tanya Dykstra, Hiram, Maine. Kimberley Courtney (Jason) Swift Current, SK. Ivan Boyer (Brittany) Bienfait, SK. Brian Boyer, Swift Current, SK. Wyatt Boyer, Swift Current, SK. Great grandchildren: Ramona and Odette Boyer (Travis), Victoria and Manny Langen (Angela). Avett and Sunny Dykstra (Aaron), Lily Kick (Tanya). Taylor Goertzen (Kimberley). Brooklyn and Paisley Boyer (Ivan).
Lois was predeceased by her husband, Glen Boyer, their son, Rick Boyer, and granddaughter-in-law, Victoria Boyer.
At her request there will be no funeral service.
A private interment will be held at the White Bear Cemetery for family and close friends at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2018.
