Joan E. DeLorey
Joan Elizabeth DeLorey of Mahone Bay, and formerly of Western Shore,
passed away April 10, 2018 at Mahone Nursing Home.
Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Hosea and Beatrice
(Veinotte) DeLorey.
She is survived by nephews, Wayne (Joyce) Van Norden; Barry (Janette)
Sawler; Timothy (Joanne) Sawler.
She was predeceased by sisters, Joy Van Norden and Frances Sawler;
nephew, Richard Van Norden.
No Visiting Hours. Graveside service will be held 11:00am, Monday,
April 16, 2018 at Western Shore Cemetery, Reverend Ron Barkhouse
officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Mark’s Anglican Church,
Martins Point or Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada.
The family sincerely thanks all the staff at Mahone Nursing Home for
the wonderful love and care given to Aunt Joan during her many years
as a resident.
