Obituary Overview
Helene May Sampson
Helene May Sampson,
March 5, 1961 – April 7, 2018,
age 57, of Scotch Village and Hants County.
Mom was the strongest, bravest mother, nana and friend that you could ever meet. Mom had a quiet stubborn side that saw her through all the many challenges she faced throughout her life. She faced them head on and always came out smiling. Anyone who ever met her would say she was so kind, caring, compassionate, fair and easy to talk to. She never had a bad word to say about anyone. Mom was happiest when she was surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She lived for her grand babies and they were her world.
Helene is survived by her 3 children, Bryan (Lindsay), Greg (Heather), and Trish (Rick); 6 beautiful grandchildren, Trinity, Ayla, Alexis, Ben, Taylor and Lilly; brothers, Richard (Heather), Harold (Rosie), and Les; sisters, Joyce (Kevin) Mason, Liz (Ralph) Timleck, and Nancy (Bernie) Martin; special friends, Cindy and Lawrence; many nieces and nephews.
Born in Sydney, Cape Breton, she was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Eileen Sampson.
We would like to thank all the VON and Northwood girls that took such great care of our mother.
