Maurice Bastarache
1959-2018
Maurice Bastarache, 58, of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent and formerly of
Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at the Saint-John Regional
Hospital, on Wednesday March 28, 2018. He was married to the late
Nicole Cormier (2003). Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late
Jude and the late Jeannita (LeBlanc) Bastarache.
He will be sadly missed by his two children; Tina Cormier
(Rhéal Mills) and Chris Bastarache, his three grandchildren;
Peter, Nathaniel and Sebastien as well as two great grandchildren;
Jaxon and Rylie. He also leaves to mourn three sisters; Julia
Bastarache (Augustin Cormier) of Bouctouche, Marie Richard (Michel) of
Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Linda LeBlanc of Saint-Antoine, one brother Elie
of Montreal, two special nieces; Jackie and Debbie and a special
friend, Colleen as well as several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by one grandson; Aaron and one brother Donald.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche on Tuesday April 3, 2018 from 2 to 4
and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the
Saint-Jean Baptiste Church, Bouctouche on Tuesday April 3, 2018 at
7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Maurice’s memory, donations may be made to the family.
