Lenard “Papa” Tienkamp passed away Prince Albert at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 78 from Pneumonia.
Lenard was born on December 29, 1939 in the town of Birch Hills, Sask to Marcus Tienkamp, born in Germany and Gerrigje VanDaulfen born in Holland. He met and married his loving wife of 56 years Jeannette Thorburn on October 13, 1961, and together they had 5 children.
Lenard will be forever missed by his wife: Jeannette; son: Darcy (Lisa Carlton) Tienkamp, Brooks, Alberta; son: Roger (Valerie Gillies) Tienkamp, Swift Current, SK; son: Derrick (Peggy Ferh) Tienkamp, Christopher Lake, SK; son: Stacy (Christien Tourniner) Tienkamp, St.Louis, SK; daughter: April (Harold) Allenby, Birch Hills, SK; grandchildren: Amber (Nick Doram); Dustin Tienkamp; Lance Tienkamp; Bobbie (Ty Benjamin); Joceyln Tienkamp; Michelle Tienkamp; Cody Tienkamp; Taylor Allenby; Katelyn Allenby; great-grandchildren: Arlo Doram; Jackson Siebel; Skylar Pulvermacher; Bentley Tienkamp, Seranity Tienkamp, Carter Tienkamp; Harlyn Benjamin; brothers and sisters: Alice (George) Cheal; Jenna (Marvin) Bigger; Margaret (Edwin) Thall; Gerry (Carmen) Tienkamp; Marcus (Sylvia) Tienkamp; Kenneth (Joanne) Tienkamp.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 28th St W, Prince Albert, SK
