Jane Violet May Patterson (nee Sanderson) was born on Wednesday, June 29, 1938, in La Ronge, SK, and passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018, in La Ronge, SK, at the age of 79 years. Jane is survived by her loving family, her children, Leo (Diane) Patterson, Peggy (Terry) Hunt, Sylvia Patterson (Mike Johnson), Frank Patterson (Suzie Misponas), Debbie Patterson (Kirk Fedje), Lillian Sanderson; her 14 grandchildren, Vanessa, Kelly-Ann, AJ, Roxanne, Heather, Amanda, Rod, Robin, Ryan, Zach, Hailey, Cheyenne, Shahalla, Michelle; her 13 great grandchildren, Mitchell, Keifer, Leah, Reid, Riel, Riley, Harmonie, Raedon, Lexyn, Aryanna, Keastin, Tahlon; her 2 great great grandchildren, Rollin and Noah; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by, her husband, George Patterson; her parents, Zacheus and Amelia (nee Charles) Sanderson; her sister, Lydia Sanderson; her brother, Alfred Sanderson; her great granddaughter, Cydney Lynn Hunt Robson; and numerous other relatives. Jane’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Kitsaki Hall in La Ronge, SK, Tom Sanderson and Edna Mirasty presiding. Interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery, in La Ronge, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 54 – 11 Street East, Prince Albert, SK, S6V 0Z9.
