BAKER, Douglas Eli
Doug made his last wildly inappropriate and probably sarcastic comment on March 17th, 2018 at the young age of 67. Now he stands back on his two legs about to take a cruise on his motorcycle to enjoy a round of 18 holes. Doug is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Donna (Wheeler); daughters, April and Tammie(Lee Gaetz); grandchildren, Connor, Kasse, Kalin and Keigan, great granddaughter Lilly; siblings, Priscilla (Keith Snare) and Gary(Donna) with many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. He is predeceased by parents Ralph Baker and Isabelle Delgarno, brothers Andrew & Derek. After 35 loyal and dedicated years of working with Emco Plumbing and Heating « Tugboat » decided to throw in the towel and retire due to his health. Special thanks to the nurses of 6.2 in the Halifax Infirmary, you are the light that shines in people’s darkest storms. Visitation will be Thursday, March 22nd & Friday, March 23rd from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Funeral service on Saturday at 11am, all being held in A. L. Mattatall funeral home, 217 Portland St. Cremation has taken place.
