LEOLA GERLINE NELSON
August 17, 1929 – March 16, 2018
NELSON, Leola Gerline – Passed away peacefully in her home with family by her side on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late John Nelson. Loving mother of Wanda Recoskie (Earl), Brenda Hanes, Sherry Hanes (Byron), Dale Copeland (Reg) and Darrell Jenson (Yvonne). Cherished Grandma of Carrie Walls (Allen), Lori Dadji (Kizi), Jennifer Joseph (Jean), Rodney James, Craig Nott, Chat Nott, Tyson Hanes (Cristie), Erik Aalto and Ashley Aalto and many great grand children. Predeceased by her parents Edward Steinke and Hatti Gahr (formerly Steinke) and her siblings Elva, Wilda, Lois and Edward. A private graveside service will be held in the spring. Memorial donations to the SAH Cancer Care Fund or to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
