Florin R. « Dewey » Trenholm
1936-2018
It is with extreme sadness we announce
the passing of Florin « Dewey » Trenholm, age 81, of Timber
River, NB. Dewey passed away unexpectedly at home on
Thursday, March 15, 2018.
Born in Port Elgin, NB, he was a son of
the late Alton and Delilah (Larsen) Trenholm.
Dewey was a lifelong
fisherman. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather
and great grandfather. He loved to tickle his
kids. A comedian at heart, he had a quick wit. He was a
hardcore Toronto Maple Leafs fan, always looking forward to them
winning the Stanley Cup. He loved weekends camping in Murray
Corner, listening to fiddle music and dancing along.
Dewey will be sadly missed by his wife
Lillian, Timber River, children Norma (Wally) Spencer, Timber River,
Dale (Joanne), Shemogue, Lori Chappell, Timber River and Lisa (Wayne)
Briggs, Murray Corner, NB; 10 grandchildren, Kristen (Adam), Mathew,
Tyler, Luke, Danielle (Ryley), Jacob, Thomas, Michael, Morgan, and
Sarah; 4 great grandchildren, Nikolas, Avery, Kassidy and
Elly; brother Robert (Linda), Timber River; sister-in-law
Florence, Port Elgin.
He was predeceased by son-in-law Terry
Chappell, brothers Ralph, Donald and sister Helen
Burke.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
Jones Funeral Home, Sackville and Port Elgin, NB
(506-538-2241). His funeral service will be held at the
Jones Funeral Chapel in Port Elgin on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 3
pm.
