Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, March 11, 2018 Raymond James Murphy age 75 years, formerly of Logy Bay. Predeceased by his parents John and Josephine Murphy, brothers Ted, Jack, sisters Nell and Mary baby Annie parents-in-law Mary and John Lake. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 54 years Elizabeth (Lake) Murphy; seven sons Fabian (Darlene), Raymond, Rod (Cheryl), Lorne (Fabiola), Perry, Desi, Derek (Estrella) one daughter Cindy (Karl) as well as eleven grandchildren DJ, Samantha, Victoria, Jesse, Lacey, Raymond, Raylynne , Chantal, Amber, Sophie and Saulo and one great-grandchild Raymond Alexander sisters and brothers -in-law Ann, Don Lake (Florence-deceased),Theresa-deceased(Isadore Ward-deceased) , Regina (Joe Brewer), Tilly (Tone Whyte) and Cecilia Lake and many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home 84 LeMarchant Road on Tuesday from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church with cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
