It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Susan Cosman on Monday, March 5th 2018 at Victoria Hospice, BC. Janet was born on Aug 8, 1955 in Saint John, NB; she was daughter of the late Allard and Christine (Goble) Legere. She will be sadly missed by her 3 boys, Nicholas (Lori) of Kingston, ON; Joel (Brittany) of Kelowna, BC; Kyle (Aidan) of Calgary, AB; and her precious grandchildren Hunter and Raina Cosman. She also leaves behind her three brothers Mac (Holly), Mike (Brenda), Brian (Cindy) and three sisters Susan (Wayne) of Victoria, BC, Marg (Darrell), Tina (Steve) and her very best friend of 46 years Lee Sonier, several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents Janet was predeceased by her eldest brother Norman and nephew Stephen.
Janet was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who loved spending time with her family. She will also be missed by her work family at Firm Management, especially her bestie Sharon Henderson. Janet loved the beach,travel and being outdoors in the sun, reading and gardening.
Services will be held at Royal Oak Burial Park, Victoria, BC on Thursday, March 8th at 2:00 pm, and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 10th at 1:00 pm, from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. For those who wish, remembrances to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
