Wilson, George passed away peacefully at the Southampton Care Centre on Sunday March 4, 2018. George Harold Wilson of Southampton in his 94th year. Beloved wife of Irene Wilson (nee Seibel) for 60 years. Loving father of Shannon (Jim) and Bridget (Kevin). Proud Grandfather to Wilson and Jackson. Survived by his sister Joan Bryan and nephew Matthew Bryan. Predeceased by his parents Harold & Marie, by his siblings, Margaret, Elise, and Kenneth, and by his nephew Michael Bryan. George loved his family and friends and spending time on the golf course. A Celebration of Life for George Wilson will be held at the Southampton Golf & Country Club on Sunday May 20, 2018 with words of remembrances beginning 2 p.m. followed by a casual gathering until 5 p.m. Because of George’s love for golf, his family would like you to join them for a putting contest at 5 p.m. If desired, memorials donations may be made to the Covenant House, 20 Gerrard St E, Toronto, ON M5B 2P3 or to the Children’s Make A Wish Foundation.
