Obituary for Thomas Edward Kenney
KENNEY: THOMAS EDWARD
Tom Kenney of Joyceville died suddenly at Kingston General Hospital on March 4, 2018. Predeceased by his dad, Jim, in 1993. Tom’s mom, Mary, lives at Mapleview Lodge in Athens. Respectfully, due to her health, please don’t tell her. Beth, Janelle (Mitch), Kyla (Jake), and Daneene (Dave) and their children, Mac, Aveah, Lauren, Thomas, Marren and Addison; along with Noreen (Pete), Vince (Cheryl), John (Debbie), Gary, Joseph (Ali), Paul (Cathy Jo), and Marianne all love him dearly and wonder how they will live without him. Fourteen close nieces and nephews along with their spouses and children will always keep Tom’s memory alive. The family requests you please join them wherever possible in the coming days in honour of Tom. Visitation will take place at Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Thursday from 3-9 pm. Tom’s Funeral Service will be held at Olivet United Church at 11 o’clock am on Friday March 9th with interment immediately following. Afterwards, a reception celebrating Tom’s life will be held at the Colonnade Golf Club in Joyceville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Cystic Fibrosis Canada or the Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
