Obituary of David Brooks
Suddenly at home on Sunday, March 4, 2018. David Brooks in his 48th year. Loving husband for 18 years of the late Lorraine Dale (nee Ricker, 2017). Cherished brother of Vicki Card, Kathy and Jerry Dracz, and Diane Card. Loved son of Grace and the late Clyde Brooks, and son-in-law of the late Hum and Helen Ricker. Also missed by his brothers-and-sisters-in-law Sharon and her husband Stan Meadows, Betty Jane and her husband Norm Desrouseaux, Linda and the late John Sharpe, Cindy and her husband Dennis Toll, and the late Shirley Houser. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and many friends. Will be sadly missed by his pug Maggie. Dave was a former employee of Haldimand County. Friends will be received for visitation at BALLARD MINOR FUNERAL HOME, 315 Broad St. E., Dunnville on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 4 – 5:30 p.m. A funeral service will take place at 5:30 p.m. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 142, Dunnville. Cremation. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Welland & District S.P.C.A. would be sincerely appreciated.
