Obituary for Lucien Lavigne
At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Lucien Frederick Lavigne of Cornwall; age 79 years. Beloved husband of Yvonne (née Lalonde) of 58 years. Loving father of Jacques (Shelley) of Waterford, Monique (Chuck) of Alexandria, Gilles (Nancy) of Cornwall, Louise (Dan) of Cornwall, Sylvie (Kevin) of Moose Creek, and Lynn (Derick) of Cornwall. Cherished grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Predeceased by a great grandchild also by his parents Alexandre Lavigne and Prescilla Deschamps, brothers Rene, Gerald, Marcel, Laurier and sisters Rejanne, Lucille and Alice. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. S., Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan’s Cathedral on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 10:30 am. Spring Interment. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Lucien a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
