Obituary of Melba Corbin
Corbin-Salisbury, Melba Elizabeth (nee McLean)
Melba passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the age of 91.
Melba was born in Harrington, Quebec on May 18, 1926, and was the daughter of the late Dougall and Christine (nee Cook) McLean.
Beloved wife of the late Jack Salisbury (1969) and Douglas Corbin (2001).
Loving mother of Blake Salisbury of Bothwell, Jerry and Gloria Salisbury of Florence and the late Shelley Arnew (2016) and David of Chatham.
Dear step-mother of Robert, Tammy and Tina Corbin.
Sadly missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Kind sister of Amanda Carman of Ottawa.
Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by a sister Madeline Poulter, and brothers, Irving and Randy McLean.
The family will receive friends at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 3:00 -5:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service will take place at Praise Fellowship Church, 65 Park Avenue East, Chatham, on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Michael Koppes, officiating.
Interment will be held in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
