Passed peacefully away at Pleasant View Towers surrounded by her loving family on February 13, 2018, Annie Murphy age 76 years. Predeceased by her husband Leo, parents: Patrick and Elizabeth Hickey; brothers: Joe, Tom and Pat Hickey; brother-in-law Bill (Marie); sisters-in-law: Eileen, Florence and Veronica. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her sons: Greg (Bun), Leo (Marilyn), Karl (Michelle) and Keith (Susan); precious grandchildren: Jenine Haukeness (Nolan), Leah, Amy and Charlotte Murphy; 2 great-grandchildren: Aiden and baby Haukeness soon to arrive; sisters: Josephine Moores (Lloyd) and Patricia Hickey; sister-in-law Geraldine Hickey; brothers-in-law Edward Murphy (Anna) and John Murphy; uncle James Hickey (Loretta), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thank you is extended to the staff of 2 North East at Pleasant View Towers who provided exceptional care to our mother during her time there. Your love and dedication over the last three years has made a lasting impression on our family. We will be forever grateful for your overwhelming compassion and support. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Friday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. from Holy Rosary Church, Portugal Cove. Inurnment to follow Holy Rosary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Annie’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
