It is with great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Marie Angele Eastman at the age of 90 years.
She leaves to mourn her children Russell (Eileen), Edward (Iris), Frank (Connie), Gerald (Norma), Mervin (Fiona), Laura, Kelly (John), Chris (Crystal); sisters Mary Prince, Margaret Prince; brother James Prince; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was blessed with 6th generation grandchildren; godchildren Angel Fries and Sandra Mousseau.
She was predeceased by her husband Clements; children Clifford “Cheep”, Colleen, Alvina, Joseph, Mary Florence and Larry; parents Amab & Sarah Prince; grandparents William & Antoinette Roulette; siblings Iona Prince, Philomene Prince, Donald Prince, Stanley George Prince and Arthur Roulette; daughter in law Peggy and Angela; son in law Willie Prince; grandchildren Chantel, Jason, Carla, Darren, Jake, Sheldon and 3 great grandchildren as well as goddaughter Rhonda Spence.
Marie Angele “Koko Nice-Hair” enjoyed visiting with her children, grandchildren and numerous friends. She had a special place in her heart for each and every one. She also enjoyed family gatherings and had a great love for bingo.
Koko was very blessed to have celebrated her 90th birthday with her family and friends a few days before her passing. As the eldest member of Sandy Bay First Nation, she will be greatly missed by all.
