Linda May Neigel
September 26, 1947 – January 12, 2018
Linda May Neigel long time resident of Peace River & Grimshaw, AB passed away suddenly on January 12, 2018 in Cancun, Mexico at the age of 70 years old. Linda was born Sept. 26, 1947 at Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, to parents Edgar & Dorothy Killins.
Linda worked as a bookkeeper until she retired in 2004.
Linda loved her family time and her grandchildren. She loved to travel, play games and crochet. She was a loyal and true friend, friends were very important to her.
Her 8 grandchildren affectionately referred to her as « Nanny ».
As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses Linda participated in her volunteer ministry regularly, becoming a qualified teacher of the Bible. Helping people build faith in God.
Linda was predeceased by her husband of 20 years, Tom Neigel, affectionately know as « TV Tom. »
Linda is survived by her
3 children Norman Robert Burgess, Barry Aaron (Tracy) Burgess, Jennifer Jayne (Daniel) Hislop & 8 grandchildren Stone, Rocky, Alysha, Justin, Dallas, Jaylyn, Sarah, Sadie & 2 great grandchildren Brooklynn & Xavier.
Linda is survived by her 3 sisters,
Geri (Don) Richardson, Patricia (Marc) Fugere & Sherry (Tom) Ball & her 2 brothers Jim Killins & Mike (Lisa) Killins.
Memorial Services for the late Linda Neigel will be held February 10, 2018 from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, St. Albert, Alberta at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Marc Fugere officiating. Luncheon & fellowship to follow at the Cardiff Community Hall.
