Joseph Stanley McLeod was born on May 21, 1948 and passed away on January 18, 2018 at the age of 69 years.
He was predeceased by his father, David McLeod; mother, Madeline Richard McLeod Lavallee; brothers, William (Chiboy) McLeod, Cecil McLeod; and brother in law, Joseph Ledoux.
Left to mourn his passing are siblings, Allan (Verna) McLeod, Sophia Ledoux, Sharon (Peter Paul) Chartrand; and sister in law, Mildred McLeod. He will be remembered by numerous uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. S. Menard, the staff at Winnipegosis Health Centre, and the staff at the Dauphin General Hospital for the care.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Jo Jo’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Box 1224 Station K, Toronto, Ontario, M4P 9Z9, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3L 0K6.
Funeral services were held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church in Camperville, Manitoba with Father John Okosun officiating. Interment followed in the Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church Parish Cemetery.
