Obituary for Janet MacKenzie (Reid)
Janet Victoria MacKenzie (née Reid), of Tiverton, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, on Friday, January 19th, 2018 in her 95th year.
Beloved wife of the late John MacKenzie (2016) and the late Jack Gazel (1965).
Cherished mother of Carmen Gazel of Tiverton, Cora Lee (Norman) Dobson of RR3 Tiverton, Barbara Poole of London and Betty (John) Johnston of Kincardine.
Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Predeceased by her parents Elmer and Mary (née Begg) Reid, brothers Earl, John and Keith Reid, sisters Marie Gottschalk, Florence Farrell and daughter-in-law Patricia Gazel.
Visitation will be held at the Knox Presbyterian Church – Tiverton on Monday, January 22nd from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. where the funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. David Chang officiating. Spring interment, Kincardine Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Knox Presbyterian Church Tiverton would be appreciated as expression of sympathy.
