WRIGHT (Lounder), Laura May of Espanola passed away at the Espanola Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Larry Lounder & Cleveland Wright. Dear daughter of the late Jans & Jennifer (nee Mattatal) Nielsen. Loving mother of Patricia McLary (husband Burton) of Sault Ste. Marie, Sandra O’Driscoll (husband Leo) of Norse Arm, Newfoundland, Nancy Kowalchuk (husband John) of Strathroy, Ontario, Joanne Hercun (husband Leonard) of Ear Falls, Ontario & the late David Lounder and stepmother to Trent Wright & Lynne Watson. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Tania Hercun (Alex) & Hana Kowalchuk & great-grandchildren, Adam, William, Benjamin, Emily & Aliana. A Memorial Service will be held at the United Church of Espanola on Saturday, January 20th at 10-:00 a.m. with the Reverend Cory Vermeer-Cuthbert officiating. Interment of ashes in the Espanola Cemetery at a later date. If so desired, Memorial tributes may be made to the United Church of Espanola (General Coffers).
